Our beloved Mayor Philips will be retiring this summer, and we will sure miss him. He has done some amazing things in his 12 years of service, and we would like to highlight a few things he did! In 2017, Fish Haven had a storm that took off the roofs of many homes, and made trampolines fly away. Under the Mayors direction, he gathered a group of hardworking youth and young adults to go to elderly families homes to help them pick up the wreckage. Another thing he did was during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, he showed great courage and strength for our fellow neighbors by being an example of social distancing, and always wearing a mask in public.
